Elevator Pitch: Describe your business in a nutshell.
Mèreadesso provides simplified skincare solutions for everyone. It’s made from the very best ingredients sourced from all over the world to incorporate as many different functions as possible.
Why did you start your business, what was the inspiration?
I was frustrated by the segmentation in the marketplace (day/night/under eye creams, toners, primers) and I wanted to really challenge myself as a product developer to create, in my mind, the perfect multi-functional product.
What is the best part of what you do on a day-to-day basis? The most challenging part?
Working with amazing people. From my manufacturers to my creative team to the people in my office, it’s a pleasure working with such wonderful people who all believe in Mèreadesso.
The most challenging part is signing all the cheques!
Where do you see your business going in 5 years?
For Mèreadesso to be a household name internationally. The sky is the limit! I don’t consider an end point; it’s more about managing the growth.
What does success look like to you?
To be happy and fulfilled in all aspects of my life. It’s never been about money for me.
What is the most memorable milestone in your career?
Taking the giant leap to start my own brand rather than creating products for other people. But I tend not to look backwards, I aim forwards.
Do you have any advice for other young professionals?
Anything is possible so long as you have a vision, the right people around you, and that the vision comes from a place of truth.
Do you support any charities? If so, which one(s) and why is that important to you?
Assaulted Women’s Helpline. The empowerment and success of women will change the world.
What is Notable to you?
When people operate their daily lives with kindness, intelligence and fun. Anything or anyone who emanates this is notable to me.
Blackberry, iPhone, Android, or Other?
I like to have my hands in both current and medieval technology at the same time! I go from BlackBerry to writing out my appointments in a calendar.
How do you keep active, energetic, and vibrant?
Keeping up with my 9-year-old son, laughing, and kickboxing…but not at the same time.
