Around this time of year we all start to feel a bit stir crazy, so perhaps a vacation is exactly what you need to cure your wanderlust blues.
So why not consider a trip to Europe? Especially when starting this May you’ll be able to fly from Toronto and Montreal to Europe for only $149 on WOW Air.
WOW Air is a discount airline based in Iceland that has been making headlines for their extremely affordable pricing between Canada and Europe. This past October they announced they would have one-way flights from Toronto and Montreal to Iceland for as low as $99 and one-way flights to Europe for $149, with all airport charges and taxes included. The only catch is that everything else will cost you extra, but for prices that low it’s one serious deal.
Because of the company’s overnight success, the airline has been forced to move up its initial launch date and offer more flights from Canada than originally planned.
Canadians can now travel with WOW starting as early as May 4th from Montreal, and May 11th from Toronto.
There will also be more flights available each week to meet demand, with six a week from Toronto and five from Montreal.
It’s expected that by the summer, Wow will be able to offer flights across North America and Europe, with up to 27 destinations including: London, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Boston. With prices this cheap, you could soon be going on a fun weekend getaway once a month.
