We just got back from a five-day wine tasting tour in B.C. And you know what, you can too. Just enter here and read on below to hear a bit about our experience, a.k.a. the one you could soon be having…
We swept down through the beautiful Okanagan Valley from Kelowna, hitting eight wineries, sipping on mouthwatering grapes and soaking in breathtaking views. Not to mention stopping in for private meals at high-profile restaurants to chat with chefs as they created delicious meals while we set up shop beside them in the kitchen to share stories, flavours and, of course, more B.C. wine.
When we thought we’d just about wiped our palates clean, we headed north to Kamloops and Delta Sun Peaks resort for a few days of skiing alongside Canadian legend, and current Senator, Nancy Greene. Our mouths weren’t given much reprieve, however, as the 16th Annual Sun Peaks Winter Okanagan Wine Festival was taking place when we arrived. With a glass and a pass, we were all set to wander the village tasting fresh grapes from over 30 local wineries. So, yes, Saturday morning was a little rough. But that didn’t stop us from hitting the slopes or enjoying the festival’s wine brunch.
But that’s enough about us. Let’s get to you, ‘cause while we were out there having the time of our lives (an experience we’ll be telling you all about later in the week) we thought that you should be doing the same.
