Why You Should Attend the Live Art Gala Benefitting the CCAC

We know what you’re doing next Wednesday.

You’re attending a gala.

You’re fighting cancer.

You’re giving back.

That’s because the Live Art Gala benefitting the CCAC (Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada) is working towards the very ambitious – and very honourable – goal of raising a cool $250,000.

And what’s a quarter-mil between friends and survivors?

From 8pm onwards, you can expect Montreal’s electric art space, Arsenal (2020 rue William) to be filled with collaborative live art group EN MASSE, modern dance collective Inertia, comedian Sugar Sammy, and a collection of fashionable, giving, and supportive young professionals (YPs).

If you need a few more details to convince you this is a worthy cause, we got them right here:

The CCAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness, providing support, and advocating for colorectal cancer across Canada. Colorectal Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in Canada and is 90% curable if detected in its early stages. This is why educating the public on proper screening and testing is crucial to the mandate of CCAC.

To show our support for this great event we’ll be giving away a pair of tickets. All you have to do is tweet:

“I want @notableca to help me support the fight against @coloncanada #notablecause #LiveArtGala”

And we’ll select a winner at 5pm on Tuesday, November 11th.

Before then, however, you can and should buy your tickets right here.
