On the hunt for a tasty fix after ringing in 2014 in true Notable style? Unless you’re feeling up to crafting your own breakfast the morning after booze-drenched festivities, we’re thinking you’ll likely be pining for a fully catered option instead. That’s why we’ve gone ahead and hunted down some tasty brunch options guaranteed to please open New Year’s Day in YVR.

Head to Hawksworth Restaurant for a bit of indulgence come New Year’s Day. They’re hosting an all-day feast (starting at 10:30am until 2pm) featuring their artisan breakfast pastry selection, sablefish brandade, oatmeal buttermilk pancakes, crunchy duck salad and seasonal fruit plate (to name just a few options). Reservations are strongly recommended.

Looking for brunch with a killer view come New Year’s Day? Head down to the stunning waterfront locale that’s home to the Pan Pacific Hotel to find your morning after fix. Brunch starts at 11am and runs until 3pm, with about 750 tickets already sold – don’t wait. There will be table upon table of scrumptious offerings (with a definite West Coast twist) at their Cafe Pacifica Restaurant.   Want more details? Check out the full brunch menu here.

Another option for New Year’s Day brunching can be found at the Fairmont Pacific Rim’s stylish Oru Restaurant. They’ve called it their ‘New Year’s Day Hangover Bruch’ and promise that a menu of endless options will help soak up the night’s festivities. Cost is $33 per person and reservations are recommended. Brunch is served starting at 11:30am until 2pm.

Our final New Year’s Day brunch option can be found at Vancouver’s Sutton Place Hotel. They always do it up in style, welcoming guests to lazily nosh on everything from freshly baked goods, pastries, antipasto and hot carved meats to a lighter selection of seasonal fruit, salads, and more. Plan ahead and book your table before they get snapped up. Check out the entire brunch menu here.
