February 15 is Family Day – and whether you have kids or you’re just looking forward to sleeping in on a Monday, there are plenty of places open for you to explore.
Although the city won’t ground to a complete halt, you can expect certain closures around Toronto.
So to make sure you don’t get caught short, here’s a guide to what’s open and closed this Family Day.

ROM – 10 am- 5.30 pm
AGO – 10.30 am until 4 pm for family fun activity
Bata Shoe – 10 – 5 pm with winter-themed activities
Gardiner Museum – 10 am – 5 pm
Hockey Hall of Fame – 10 am to 5 pm; Kids Go Free (when purchasing an adult ticket online)

Loblaws – CLOSED
Whole Foods – Yorkville – Market: 10am-6pm, Cafe: 8am-6pm
No LCBO’s or Beer Stores will be open so be sure to stock up ahead of time
Transport
TTC and GO transit: OPEN but running a Saturday schedule
Malls
Eaton Centre – 10 am – 6 pm
Vaughan Mills – 10 am – 7 pm
Toronto Premium Outlets – 9.30 am – 7 pm
Yorkdale, Sherway Gardens and Fairview Mall – CLOSED
