What’s in Your Bag, Chassie Post?

Sometimes there’s no better way to find out about what’s important to a person than to take a glimpse into their bag. That’s exactly what we did when we sat down with GILT.com Lifestyle Editor Chassie Post, who’s stocking everything from neon post-its to leopard flats as she runs around town on the daily…

THE BAG:
COURAGE b makes a great bag big enough for me. I use my bag as a giant staging area, because you never know what you’re going to need when running around town. Plus, we are WAY into white accessories at GILT.com, for the sumer and beyond. We fully embrace wearing white long after Labour Day.

THE ESSENTIALS:
My GILT notebook for lots and lots of note taking, and a turquoise calendar from Tiffany given to me by my Mother every Christmas. We like to (more like have to) write things down! And my wallet by Orla Keily… big, bold and bright. Giant, neon pink post-its as well, just because…

FLATS:
I love a heel, therefore I always keep a pair of flat sandals in my bag in case I actually have to walk further than 20 feet. These thong sandals by Maiden Lane are a staple… somehow leopard and neon pink seems to go with everything in my closet.

TRAVEL SIZE TIN OF NIVEA:
I like to moisturize old school, and it doesn’t get any more old school than Nivea. These tiny tins are perfect for toting around and also great for travel because they’re small enough to get through security at the airport.

BAG OF EARRINGS:
I like to carry a little sparkly bag of fun earrings with me for a quick change from day to night. I love Elizabeth Cole, Dannijo and Tom Binns.

SUNGLASSES
A must-have. I love these statement sunnies from Linda Farrow’s collaboration with Prabal Gurung. 70s meets 80s, the best of my two fave decades.

JUDITH LEIBER TURTLE PILL BOX:
I use it for safety pins. In our biz, one ALWAYS needs safety pins. And I love sparkly things.
