WeRise: The Morning Movement Returns This Wednesday

Last week, we did Wednesday morning right.

And we did it by rising to the occasion to celebrate the start of a new health and wellness movement in Toronto.

It’s called WeRise – but you’ve probably seen it on social media by now. In fact, you probably did a double take at your newsfeed when you saw the glowstick and costume filled shots of a dance party at The Everleigh at 7:30AM last Wednesday.

No, we hadn’t been partying all night.

WeRise begins at 6:30am with a revitalizing yoga session that’s followed by coffee, a gourmet breakfast, and a dance party of Saturday night proportions. That’s right, it all goes down before work, so you’ll arrive at the office feeling refreshed, energized, and ready to take on the day.

If you missed it, the next one goes down this Wednesday, October 14, so grab your tickets now – this is your advance warning to set your alarm clocks and start getting excited.

The second edition of WeRise – The New Dawn will feature special guest Gillian B, a renowned yoga teacher, holistic health coach, author, and public speaker, who will lead you through her energetic strengthen and flow class.

If 6:30am is too early a start for you, you can always forego your yoga mat and stop by on your way to work for breakfast and a good, old-fashioned dance party that kicks off at 7:15am and lasts until 9am. Of course, it wouldn’t be a “notable” dance party without some of the city’s best guest DJs and special live performances.

Speaking of energy, half the fun of waking up this early is trying some great healthy snacks and drinks to power you from the D-floor to the boardroom. Sponsored by Toronto’s best health-forward brands, RISERS are offered delicious treats from Revitasize, Vega, Honest Leaf Tea, Le Gourmand, Nud Fud, and Flow Water to ensure you leave energized and feeling great.

Not to mention, your feet will also thank you, when you leave with a brand-new pair of Bombas socks that will have your feet doing the happy dance. Not only are the socks stylish, the company is making the city a better place: As socks are the number one most required piece of clothing in a homeless shelter they have made a pledge that for every pair of Bombas socks sold one pair is also donated.

If this is your first time, don’t worry, we have some tips for all the newbies.

So whether it’s the early morning yoga class, or you’re hopping in for the 7:15am dance, get ready for another unforgettable sunrise soiree.

Early bird yoga tickets are already sold out but don’t get FOMO just yet, some regular ones still remain – snap them up now. Also, as an exclusive promotion, head over to The Underground Dance Centre at 220 Richmond Street West on Monday October 12th to get 40%+ off your WeRise tickets.

A very special “thank you” to Yoga Tree and The Aerie for their “yogic” contributions.

WE RISE. WE DANCE. WE INSPIRE.
