We Went There: CraveTO

The good run continues.

Last week we told you about the success of Kampai Toronto and on Friday night our summer festival circuit didn’t miss a beat when we hit up CraveTO for some of the best street food in the city.

Here’s the thing about summer: you can have events outside.

Set up in front of Wychwood Barns, vendors from all across Toronto filled the grass and concrete space (not to mention a beach-like lounge area where volleyball is usually played).

Ice cream sandwiches from Sweet Sammies, dough-y bites from Pizza Libretto, healthy salads from The Goods, kimchi peirogies from The Saucy Peirogi, and fish tacos from The Food Dudes were just a few of the amazing selections to keep your taste buds tingling all night long.

There to help you wash it all down were beer selections from Hogtown, Nickel Brook, Amsterdam, Spearhead, and Mill Street, as well as cider from Seagram.

The weather cooperated, the DJs kept the night moving, and it finally felt like summer had truly arrived.

CraveTO did just what it was supposed to do – it made us want to have as much of this city as possible.

All summer long.
