There was only one place to be last Wednesday evening in Montreal.
We’re talking, of course, about Ristorante Beatrice, which played host to our unforgettable Michael Kors summer cocktail soirée.
If you missed out, your FOMO is totally justifiable (sorry).
The weather was hot, but the crowd was even hotter as the event drew an assortment of Montreal’s finest media, influencers, and local celebrities. Many were clad in eye-popping outfits by Michael Kors, the luxury brand we all know and love.
The red carpet remained busy, with perpetually snapping cameras all evening. Media darling Maripier Morin arrived with Debra Margles (President of Michael Kors Canada) and Julian Brass (Founder of Notable.ca). Later on, the crowd serenaded Morin with ‘happy birthday’ and presented her with a cake to mark her 30th at midnight.
The well-heeled crowd clinked glasses filled with cocktails by Cointreau, sipped wine by Kim Crawford, and enjoyed delicious canapés that made you crave an entire meal from the well-known restaurant (mental note to make a reservation).
A refreshing, topping-filled gelato station kept guests cool and offered no shortage of colourful Instagram material.
Massive white balloons branded #KorsxNotable made for an excellent photo op, and guests walked away with gift bags containing a Michael Kors phone charger fit for any handbag size.
DJ Abeille spun great tunes all night that kept guests out later than their typical weeknight as co-workers and friends bonded and new personal and professional connections were made.
But, hey, the late bedtime was worth it (even if Thursday morning was a bit rough). Notable was in town, and Michael Kors sure knows how to throw a memorable party.
