What will it take for people to stop smoking?
Health statistics don’t seem to work. Neither does seeing how much money is wasted on cigarettes. Or knowing the harm it causes people around you.
But perhaps seeing your face turn into a sun-drenched catcher’s mitt in a matter of minutes will open a few eyes. That’s what happened when Buzzfeed hired a make-up artist to age the faces of three smokers who’ve been hypothetically hacking darts for 30 years.
“I hope to get scared out of smoking cigarettes and finally be able to fully quit,” said one of the subjects, 25-year-old Edd.
That objective was certainly achieved…
