Party Warhol-style at Calgary’s Infamous Factory Party on October 22

After a 6-year hiatus, one of Calgary’s most infamous parties is back.

And this is definitely something to get excited about – especially if you have a thing for Warhol.

Back in 2008, The Factory Party was introduced to Calgary as a revival of Andy Warhol’s infamous NYC parties at his Manhattan studio named “The Factory.”

Think: an expertly curated experience of visual artists and live music acts, filled with Calgary’s finest young professionals.

On Saturday, October 22, The Factory Party returns as the official After Party for LOOK2016.

This year Contemporary Calgary and The Factory Party have united to bring over-the-top (and totally Instagram-worthy) art installations and musical performances that would make Warhol proud.

Artists and DJs include The Famines, Bad Animal, Beach Season, Lab Coast, Crack Cloud and Double Fuzz.

The party also marks the very last time you’ll ever be able to party in the Planetarium, as it will be immediately shut down for renovations to create the Contemporary Calgary space.

One of the best things about this party is that it won’t break the bank – advance tickets are just $25 online and $30 at the door (naturally, the affordable price tag means that drinks aren’t included, but whatever).

If you’re looking to mingle with other culture and party-loving young professionals, this is where you’ll want to be.
