How did you start your singing career, what was the inspiration?
I love music, and to be honest I didn’t want to do anything else.
What is the best part of what you do on a day-to-day basis? The most challenging part?
The best part of what do would have to be writing, performing and meeting my fans in person. The most challenging bit is having to shut my mind off to be able to sleep at the end of the day. I have so many ideas that just flood me in the early hours of the morning.
Where do you see your career in five years?
I’ll let you know in five years.
What does success look like to you?
Headlining my own world tour and having fans in every country.
What is the most memorable milestone so far?
The day I was signed.
Do you have any advice for other young upcoming artists?
My advice would be to always be honest with yourself. There are always some people who want to make you into what they think you should be, and the only person you need to impress creatively is yourself. If you believe in your work, the people who understand you will also believe.
Do you support any charities? If so, which one(s) and why is that important to you?
I recently was asked to be an ambassador for Youth Day Toronto. I strongly believe in my generation and I hope to inspire them to achieve great things. I’m also very passionate about the environment.

How do you keep active, energetic, and vibrant?
I drag my self out of bed early in the morning and crawl to the gym. I also try to eat well and overall just try to have a healthy lifestyle.
