Video Recap: Notable Does Osheaga

Montreal’s version of Coachella wrapped up this weekend but talks, images and memories from Osheaga will continue until the next edition.

Headliners this year included Outkast, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, Skrillex, Pusha T, Childish Gambino, and Montrealers Chromeo just to name a few.

Just like last year, we spent the weekend dancing, laughing, head bopping, getting beautified (we will get to this below), admiring the zillions of flower crowns that took over and taking in all the amazing artists that graced the multiple stages. The vibe was truly electric everywhere you skipped to. Yes, grown people were skipping in joy all over – we don’t blame them. In fact, we joined them.

A stand-out for us was partnering with Maybelline x Garnier Fructis and their uber-impressive VIP two-level Touch-Up Studio where festival goers, media, and movers and shakers were able to express their style and #rockyourcolours at Osheaga.

Celebrating the connection between hairstyle, makeup and music, the Touch-Up Studio transformed nails, lips and hairstyles in a trendy tent. Once looks were created, participants shared their new festival style on social media via a selfie in front of a glamourous branded backdrop.

In an effort to beat the heat, Garnier and Maybelline offered a unique festival VIP viewing gallery on the second floor of the Touch-Up Studio. This gave a few lucky festivalgoers the best seats in the house with a unique viewing experience of the artists on the Green Stage. Goodies from Squish Candies and Vitamin Water offered refreshment during the show.

Enough chat – the video speaks for itself.

Until next year, music lovers.
