Victoria’s Secret to Open Lingerie Heaven on St. Catherine

It’s time to bend and snap Montreal, because things are about to get a lot sexier on St. Catherine Street. Victoria’s Secret, the ultimate in intimate, is poised to open its oh so sultry doors in Montreal. Finally.

As the saying goes, go big or go home – and that’s exactly what Victoria’s Secret has in store. The Montreal location will be VS’s second largest shop in the world. That’s right, ladies and gents, get ready for a gigantic Victoria’s Secret flagship, second only to the New York’s Herald Square. 35,000 square feet of boundless silk and satin, an endless array of bras, bustiers and babydolls, and a veritable lingerie wonderland of double-D proportions await.

Previously, the only way to get your hands on a little Victoria’s Secret number in La Belle Province was in Carrefour Laval. Now, a spicy something will be right at your fingertips. Set to take over the current Chapters on the corner of Stanley, the new location will be a dream come true for any lingerie lover, complete with long-legged angels of course.

The new location will put La Senza, also owned by Victoria’s Secret, right across the street. But not to fear, La Senza fans, both brands will find room in our lingerie closets. While La Senza targets a younger demographic, Victoria’s Secret is more about the va va voom, with more grown-up styles that appeal to a more sophisticated sensibility.

With Chapters preparing to close its doors in October, we can guess that the official Victoria’s Secret opening isn’t too far away. And if it’s anything like the opening in Laval, prepare for total pandemonium… in the most thrilling way. We’re talking throngs of VS devotees, lineups around the block, and, most notably, a Victoria’s Secret angel to cut the bright pink ribbon.

We’ll say ooh la la to that.
