Versace Home Opens in Vancouver Today

It’s not what you’d expect.

Or where you’d expect.

While prominent brands are vying for space on Vancouver’s “luxury row” or Robson Street, Versace Home has made an edgier move and opened eastward – in Gastown at 310 Cordova Street.

The first Canadian location and only the fourth in the world – the brand is apparently planning on more to come. But we’ll take what we can get for now.

Taking over what used to be a somewhat of an eyesore, the space is airy and minimalistic. And in reality, it’s perfect. Luxurious living room sets with standout accent pieces, porcelain dinner sets, and the best of bath towels marked with Versace’s established decorative emblems, the Medusa and Greek key – are tied in.

Filled with potential buyers, (who were already shopping), there was an intimate party last night to introduce the luxury home fashions to the city’s most affluent. Stepping away from the boutique space, clients also have the option of sitting down with a full interior design service housed in the back.

Other than one bed emblazoned with strong black and gold bedding that screamed Nicki Minaj, we were surprisingly delighted by what Versace Home has decided to bring into Vancouver.
