So far this summer, Toronto has seen a wave of the world’s best electronic artists at headlining festivals such as Digital Dreams and Identity. This weekend is no exception, as VELD Fest lands in Downsview Park on Saturday and Sunday. Festival-goers can expect two jam-packed days of high-energy tunes, beautiful people, and an upbeat atmosphere.

Headlining VELD Fest is Swedish-born Avicii and Toronto native Deadmau5, who played a sold-out show of 20,000 at the Rogers Centre last November. The legendary Steve Aoki will also be throwing his signature killer part on Saturday. Though these power players are the most renowned at the festival, there are definitely more to watch. Tommy Trash will likely own the stage Saturday with his rock-infused flavour, while Cosmic Gate will leave the crowd in a trance with liquid tracks on Sunday. Also to watch on Sunday is up-and-coming Swanky Tunes, who will keep the party going with their creative and quirky remixes.

The festival will begin at noon each day and will run until about 11pm. With the Main VELD Stage and the Bacardi Tent providing non-stop lineups each day, this party will be nothing short of a rager.
