Conde Nast readers wined, dined, spent the night, and voted, crowning Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel as the world’s best for international travel as part of the luxury travel magazine’s 2014 reader’s choice awards. (U.S. hotels were excluded from the survey).
Staycation, anyone?
Conde Nast Traveler reserved praise for the hotel’s stunning views, BMW car service, and luxe rooftop patio. We imagine the Pacific Rim’s beloved RawBar, Willow Stream Spa, extensive selection of worldwide publications and in-room iPad2 service – which can do everything from ordering meals to controlling various aspects of the room – were also major selling points.
Not to be outdone, Vancouver’s equally impressive Four Seasons ranked second on the list, which also included five other Canadian hotels in the top 20.
