We all know Uber makes our nights out a little better.
Soon, it could just make our nights in better too.
The company just joined the meal delivery game with the launch of UberEATS in Barcelona.
Uber has partnered with local food guide Plateselector to choose local restaurant partners in the (amazing) Spanish city. Menu choices from a changing selection of local restaurants will be delivered in less than 10 minutes.
Ten. Freakin’. Minutes.
Just as with your cab, customers can watch their meal arrive in real-time, so you’ll know exactly when to meet the driver to pick up your eats.
Restaurants include local favourites like Surf House Barcelona and Feeld Organic, both known for their quality dishes.
And using Uber for delivery has already caught on quickly in US cities like New York and Los Angeles. In NYC, UberRUSH transports your packages and other deliveries in uber quick time. On the other coast, LA’s UberFRESH delivers meals to some of California’s finest.
We can only hope that Canadian cities will be next (and before hibernation season ends).
