Toronto’s Only Design-First Tech School is Launching This Month

You’ve heard it before and we’re here to tell you again – a university degree is no longer enough to prepare you for a career, let alone land you a job after graduation.

Especially in tech.

Good thing two successful Canadian tech entrepreneurs recognized this.

Frustrated with the lack of talent and proper education in the country, they decided to start RED Academy – a school that offers the digital creators, designers, developers, and digital marketers of tomorrow the skills they need to stand out in  our country’s increasingly competitive tech industry.

With a classroom experience designed to replicate agency life, students are constantly pushed to use their newfound skills and knowledge to create a professional portfolio led by instructors who are industry-leading professionals.

In fact, it’s probably better just to think of RED Academy as closer to an apprenticeship than your average classroom (the 6-to-1 student to teacher ratio should help with that).

You’ll also be given the chance to work with local companies and non-profits while at RED, furthering your opportunities to gain real-world experience.

We told you this place was different.

As Toronto’s only design-first tech academy, RED Academy  strives to make all of their programs as accessible as possible with part-time programs costing 60% less than competitors on a per hour basis.

Since we want to make attending as easy on your wallet as possible, Notable and RED have teamed up to offer free tuition to a part-time program for two lucky readers (worth a total value of $3,790!).

To be eligible to win a free tuition for a RED program, all you have to do is fill out the sign-up form at the bottom of the article. Want to check out the brand new school for yourself? RED Academy’s Grand Opening in Toronto is on April 28th from 5:30 – 8:30pm at #100 462 Wellington Street West.

See you in school, kids.
