Toronto’s Best Sports Bar As Chosen by You

And the ‘W’ goes to…

The Football Factory

Being “outplayed” doesn’t do this one justice; in the world of sports, this is what one might call “being dominated.” This footy facility captured 52% of your votes. That was just about four times as many goals as the runner-up. With over 20 beers, a distinct location and a willingness to open outside of normal hours for big matches, The Football Factory was your clear champion.

In second place was a great one: Wayne Gretzky’s. While they only pulled in 13.4% of the votes, for an old vet, they performed pretty well. With a classic feel and direct access to the Oasis Rooftop (in summer) and year-round deals with Second City, this place will always be a competitor.

In third with 9.1% of the votes was rookie, The Contender which is Dundas West’s newest heavy hitter. Even though it’s early in the season, they’re putting up awesome numbers with 2 sounds zones, a stadium-style menu and dedication to team play. If you’re still putting together a roster, these guys are a solid pick.

Other notable performances came from The Doc Ellis, just pushed into 4th spot with 8.2% of the votes, North-American celebrity, Real Sports Bar and Roncesvalles go-to, Dizzy Gastro Sports Pub.

Below you’ll see a puck that breaks down all the voting. Take a look, and if you disagree with what you see, let us know in the comment section. Or, next time get off the bench and vote…
