And the winner is…
If there’s one thing the west side of this city does well, it’s breakfast. This Jane & Bloor darling took 28% of your vote to convincingly clinch top spot as your favourite brekkie in town. Even just looking at their menu, we can’t say we’re surprised; ‘Good forkin’ morning!’ is right.
With their Fancy French Toast, their Breakfast Poutine and their Eggs Bene (see what they did there?), the Annex classic Grapefruit Moon took second spot with 11.8% of your votes. And though the response to this poll was very passionate, hosting one of the largest “Other” categories we’ve ever seen, only one new submission gathered significant momentum and that was Emma’s Country Kitchen, at Dufferin and St. Clair, just edging out the movie-inspired Easy Restaurant for third place by 0.6% of the crowd.
