Toronto Cabbie Purposely Runs Cyclist Off the Road, Vlogger Films the Whole Thing

Anyone who has ever travelled by bike through Toronto’s city core knows that doing so basically means you’re taking your life in your hands.

By now, most of us have witnessed incidences of yelling, middle finger-waving and name-calling between drivers and cyclists. Sometimes, it even escalates into violence.

One particularly violent incident was just caught on film in Toronto – and by none other than famous American Vlogger Roman Atwood.

In a video posted on his YouTube account for all of his 8.6 million subscribers to see, Atwood captures a mind-boggling incident between a cyclist and a taxi driver in downtown Toronto.

The cyclist involved is a delivery food runner for Flavour Delivery.

In the video, the cab clearly deliberately hits the cyclist, knocking him to the sidewalk.

The cyclist gets up and yells to the cabbie, “You’re going to jail, that is assault.”

While we don’t see the series of events leading up to the time the cyclist hits the cab’s window, eyewitnesses say that the taxi driver had been acting aggressively toward the cyclist for a couple of blocks.

Either way, hitting someone with your car is probably not the best solution for anyone. Ever.

According to the Toronto Star, police are currently looking into the incident.
