Toronto Black Friday Deal Guide

Yesterday we told you what you needed to do to survive the great shopping beast that is Black Friday. Hopefully you’ve studied it, put your armour on (both mental and physical), and you’re already testing out your sleeping bag for tonight’s big wait. The only thing left to know is where you’ll be headed once you leave the safety of your home. So we thought we’d give you a list of stores offering up the best deals in the city. Remember, the early bird gets the worm… but only if the early bird doesn’t get trampled first.

Holt Renfrew
Our favourite high-end shop is putting select men’s and women’s designer fashion on sale for up to 40% off. Or, if what you’re really missing is a nice pair of Cashmere slippers, then you can snag those babies for 50% off.

Locations: 50 Bloor St W, Toronto, Yorkdale Mall
Hours: 7am – 10pm

Ben Sherman
Canada’s first Ben Sherman store, located on Queen West, is packed full of the designer duds. This is a must-visit for any man in search of style. They’ll be offering a Buy One, Get One 50% Off throughout the entire store.

Location: 734 Queen St. W
Hours: 11am – 7pm

Pink Tartan
This chic line of womenswear is offering 40% off on all of their regular priced items, both in store and online. The sale started today, though, so best get there as soon possible to get your hands on the most desirable items.

Location: 77 Yorkville Ave., Bayview Village
Hours: 10am – 7pm

Canadian Tire
Sure, you might not be able to find high-end fashion here, but you can pretty much find anything else – and all in one location. It’s impossible to list everything this superstore is putting on sale but here’s a link to their flyer.

Location: 10 Stores throughout Toronto
Hours: 7am – 9pm

Best Buy / Future Shop
It’s obviously all about the electronics at these two box stores. Everything from iPads to e-readers and laptops to smart phones will be on sale all weekend long. Our pick, however, has got to be the LG – 55″ LED – 1080p – 120Hz – HDTV for only $499 with free delivery!

Locations: Nearly a dozen throughout the GTA
Hours: 6am – 9pm

The Malls
Clearly there isn’t space to list the thousands of deals that hundreds of shops are offering, but here are some basics for you to figure out whether it’s worth it to head out into the chaos.

Eaton’s Centre
Look for the likes of The Apple Store, Banana Republic, and The Gap to be offering big savings, while several other stores will be offering everything from 50% off to no tax on selected items. But this cheeky shopping epicentre won’t be releasing a full list of deals until the mall closes tonight.

Location: 220 Yonge St.
Hours: 6am – 9:30pm

Don Mills Shopping Centre
Just like their Cadillac-Fairview sister above, Don Mills won’t be releasing its full list of participating stores and deals until later tonight. But you can be sure that shops as chic as Calvin Klein, Aritzia, and Leigh & Harlow will all make your trip worthwhile.

Location: 1090 Don Mills Road
Hours: 7am – 9:00pm

Yorkdale
The first 100 shoppers in line will get $50 gift card that can be used anywhere in the mall. There’ll also be free gift-wrapping, coat, and parcel check as well as a concierge service. Take the TTC (if you use a Family Day Pass) and you’ll get a $10 Yorkdale gift card. It would seem these guys know what they’re doing. Oh, and unlike the malls above, they’ve already released their list of Black Friday promotions.

Location: 3401 Dufferin St, Toronto
Hours: 7am – 7:00pm
