TOPSHOP and TOPMAN Pop Up Store

With the highly anticipated arrival of Topshop and Topman at select The Bay stores this fall, it was inevitable that fashion-loving young professionals would start to get, well, more than a little antsy…okay, a lot antsy. Luckily, Topshop and Topman Summer Takeover will provide a season of shopping previews, with the first starting Friday, June 17th.

The Topshop and Topman pop-up shop will take over the parking lot opposite The Black Bull bar at Queen and Soho Streets. The temporary store will feature summer essentials for the fashion savvy to browse and get the first glimpse at what’s in store come early Fall. Not surprisingly, to help build buzz and attract the gliteratti of the fashion scene, the weekend shopper deemed to have the best Toronto Street Style will win tickets to the Yorkdale Topshop and Topman VIP Opening Party in September and a $500 shopping spree with a Topshop/Topman personal shopper.

Topshop launched in 1964, and since has become a major style authority and one the fashion world’s biggest success stories. It was first introduced as a clothing line through Peter Robinson Ltd. department store chain, and the first Topshop standalone store was opened in 1994. Not long after, in 1978, Topman was born, and has earned its sartorial stripes with an unswerving, energetic approach to producing truly exciting high-street men’s fashion. The addition of Topshop and Topman to The Bay’s already impressive roster of labels is just another notable achievement for Canada’s top department store chain. Topshop and Topman pop-up store, Queen and Soho Streets, Friday June 17th (12-8pm), Saturday June 18th (10am to 8pm), and Sunday June 19th (10am to 5pm).
