If there is one thing you should plan on attending today, it’s the amazing submiT Vancouver event taking place at Performance Works in the heart of Granville Island that will showcase the show-stopping designs of top-notch artists to raise money for imagine1day organization.
This evening’s event aims to raise awareness (and much needed funding) in the hopes of providing Ethiopians access to quality education that is free of foreign aid by 2030.
submiT aims to bring philanthropists and artists together alongside like-minded notable attendees and party-goers in the hopes of elevating awareness and action. This event will feature original designs from 10 fantastic Vancouver artists who have kindly agreed to allow for their work to be scanned and printed on luxe t-shirts available as part of this unique fundraising endeavour. Selected one-of-a-kind designs will be revealed during the event, so be sure stop by to check it out (and make a worthy purchase for your Fall wardrobe). Look for designs from Sarah Gee, Fiona Ackerman, Ryan Romero and Travis Collier as well as those of George Vergette, Brandy Masch, Simon Montgomery, Jessica Bell, and Indigo.
Take in the laid back hipster-chic scene replete with live artistic performances, plenty of entertainment and music, and the opportunity to meet many of the artists while sipping your freshly-shaken cocktail. Network with other note-worthy folks and help submiT reach its $20,000 goal for a very meaningful and timely cause.
