Today’s Notable 3some in Toronto

Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do in the city today.*

Jay-Z at the ACC
Where: Air Canada Centre
When: 8:00pm

Do you really need to know anything else? This is simply must-see music. Fresh off a Grammy win last night, Hova is sure to be in fine form. If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet we suggest you start praying to the Craigslist gods.

Knife skills
Where: Marni Wasserman’s Food Studio and Lifestyle Shop, 510 Eglinton Ave W
When: 7:00pm- 9:30pm

Girls want a guy with skills, and executive vegan chef and cookbook author Doug McNish is going to teach you everything there is to know about a good blade. You’ll learn how to properly dice, mince, julienne, chop, and shave among other things. As an added bonus, it’s without a doubt the best opportunity you’ll ever have to say, ‘That’s not a knife… this is a knife!’

Mo Mondays
Where: Hard Rock Cafe, 279 Yonge St (Yonge & Dundas Square)
When: 6:00pm

Comedy, motivation, and heart all in one room. Branded as an open mic for professional speakers as well as anyone carrying a great story around in their pocket, this inspiring night provides the chance to listen, learn, and mingle with some like-minded people. Head to the Hard Rock Cafe and kick off your week with something thought-provoking. And, you know, beer.
