Today’s Notable 3some in Toronto: June 18, 2014

Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do on a Hump Day in mid-June.*

Sip & Sail
Where: The harbour
When: 6:15pm

There’s nothing better than a well earned after-work cocktail. Well, unless that cocktail is on a boat. Luckily, Mariposa Cruises was thinking the same thing. End (or start) your hump day with a skyline view of Toronto and the chance to gain a post-work windswept look that puts all others to shame.

Pop-Up Dinner
Where: Ganzi Osteria, 504 Jarvis Street
When: 7:00pm

Six courses with Master Chef Canada runner-up Marida Mohammed and Narida Mohammed (TwiceDeSpice) in collaboration with Chef Guerrino Staropoli and Chef Joe Friday. For those of you doing the math, that’s nearly a chef for every course. They’re hashtagging #theItalianway so we’re going to go ahead and assume you should expect some delicious dishes inspired by the old country.

Under the Stars
Where: Daniels Spectrum, 585 Dundas St. E.
When: 9:00pm

Free movies outside. Is there a better way to spend your mid-week summer night? We didn’t think so. The Regent Park Film Festival kicks off its summer run tonight with an open-air screening of the Oscar-nominated Palestinian film Omar. Check the trailer here. See the whole thing tonight at Daniels Spectrum.

*Of course, no one would blame you for staying in to figure out the writing on the wall
