Today’s Notable 3some in Toronto: June 17, 2014

One of the city's hottest food events of the city takes place next to the iconic Honest Ed's tonight, while you'll also find meat, beer, live music and a film/concert mashup on tap elsewhere around the city. Yup, sounds like a Tuesday

Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do on a Tuesday in mid-June.*

The Stop’s Night Market
Where: Honest Ed’s laneway
When: 7:00pm

Last year the Night Market sold out in two hours, so you’re probably going to have to know a guy or start praying to the Craigslist gods if you want to make it in. But if you do, it’ll be worth it. Over 60 chefs and 35 one-of-a-kind food carts turn the parking lot and laneway next to Honest Ed’s into on of the best food events in the city.

Caplanskypalooza
Where: Caplansky’s Deli, 356 College St.
When: 8:00pm

In honour of their 6th anniversary, all day long you can grab a smoked meat sandwich and a pint for $10. What makes it even better is that the pint you’ll be getting is a spiced, dark rye lager called The Deli King – Caplansky’s new signature beer created by Barley Days Brewery. Head to the deli tonight to celebrate and you’ll find meat, beer, and live music. Also known as everything you’ve ever needed.

The Shift
Where: The Drake Underground
When: 7:30pm

It’s a film and it’s a concert. Four screens. Three hundred and sixty degrees. We’re not really sure what to expect here, but whatever it is we’re pretty sure it’ll be an experience you won’t soon forget. Sound vague? Good. Watch the trailer and you’ll understand why.

*Of course, no one would blame you for coming out to yell about everything you don’t know.
