Today’s Notable 3some in Toronto: July 9, 2014

Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do on hump day in early July.*

Summerlicious
Where: Luma, 350 King St. W.
When: 7:00pm

In case you missed it, last Friday we announced we’d be giving away a FREE MEAL EVERYDAY OF SUMMERLICIOUS. That’s right – free. All you have to do is hit us up on social media telling us that you want to go (follow the title link for specific details) and we’ll announce a winner at 4pm for tonight’s dinner at the spectacular Luma.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z/Lady Gaga
Where: Rogers Centre/ACC
When: 8:00pm/7:30pm

This has to be the biggest night in Toronto outside of TIFF opening its doors to half of Hollywood. The collective star power strutting across two separate stages tonight is basically on the level of cosmic. Their Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook followers combine to be larger than several countries. If you’re thinking of going downtown tonight and it’s not to see one of these concerts, we’d politely suggest you re-think that plan.

Fresh Wednesdays
Where: Nathan Philips Square
When: 10:00am-2:00pm

Looking for a healthier way to spend your lunch hour? Head over to Nathan Philips Square for a farmers market that has all the fruit, veggies, freshly baked breads, tarts and pies, cheeses, meats and flowers you could ever need. Also look for live entertainment in the form of Juno Award winner Liona Boyd and a golf simulator – obviously.

*Of course, no one would blame you for staying in to study the psychology of sport.
