Fringe Festival

Toronto’s largest theatre festival is about to take over the city for the next 12 days. With more than 150 shows on offer for only $12 apiece, this is our kind of theatre. TURF Club Series
Where: The Horseshoe Tavern
When: 9:15pm
Our Music in the Streets column already told you all about the 2nd annual TURF (Toronto Urban Roots Festival) happening this weekend at Fort York. But what it didn’t let you in on was the Club Bonus Series that features even more performances at venues throughout the city. Tonight’s Aron D’Alesio and Born Ruffians combo claims to be sold out, but we believe in you (and Craigslist).
Talking Craft
Where: Tequila Bookworm, 512 Queen St. W.
When: 7:30pm
