Today’s Notable 3some in Toronto: January 31, 2014

Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do in the city on TGIF.*

Winterlicious
It starts today, and if you don’t have tickets you should probably start panicking because there isn’t a better food festival in the city during the winter. Check out Toronto.com for a full listing of over 200 restaurants in the city that are partaking, and pray you haven’t missed out on all the prix fixe deals your stomach can handle.

Chinese New Year
It’s the Year of the Horse! Don’t know what that means? It’s cool, head down to Chinatown for a street celebration/food tour and try to find out. Even if you come away no closer to understanding the annual symbology, we promise you’ll at least get some great food and see some cool sights.

Comedy
Fade to Brown is presenting an Asian comedy battle at The Lot Stand Up Comedy Club. You’ll find three Southern Asians pitted against three Eastern Asians in a comedic battle that we’re positive won’t include a single racial joke. Not one. There’ll also be a rap battle between Mahatma Gandhi and Ghenghis Khan as well samosas and biryani being served up in the lobby.

*Still want more things?! Why not head over to the The Weekender and check out everything worth doing that’s happening in the city over the next four days.
