Groundhogs
We don’t have much to say about this except that it’s their day and we thought they should get some attention. After all, if you only got one minute a year in the spotlight you’d probably want some love too. Oh, and in case you weren’t paying attention – Wiarton Willie, Canada’s most famous groundhog, let us know there’ll be #sixmoreweeksofwinter. Also, The Royal Cinema will be screening Groundhog Day over and over and over. Well, actually, just twice.
Super Bowl
As if you didn’t know. You probably slept in your jersey last night, which means you wouldn’t miss this game for all the chicken wings in the world. So may we suggest either The Dock Ellis or Duke’s Refresher Bar? Of course, if you’re too afraid to leave your house you could always pick up a few pounds of smoked meat from Hogtown Smoke. Reptile Expo
Head up to Downsview Park to check out the collection of strange and wonderful living things more than 50 vendors have brought along with them. The Canadian Reptile Expo is one of the largest reptile shows you’ll see in all of North America. We’re pretty sure that if you’re into lizards, snakes, turtles, or anything else you can call a reptile, then this is the only place you’re going to want to be. In fact, the only thing we can’t imagine being here is a dragon. Why? Cause they don’t exist you weirdo.
