Today’s Notable 3some in Toronto: February 1, 2014

Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do in the city on this first day of the weekend.*

Lyle Lovett
Julia Roberts’ first husband will be playing with his good pal, John Hiatt, at Massey Hall. It’ll be an acoustic evening with two of America’s best singer-songwriters. If they’re in the right mood, these two will also provide some stories while on stage. Best not to ask about any Pretty Women though.

Tea
Black, White, Green. Whatever your bag, leaf, or flavour of choice, we’re sure you’ll find it at the Toronto Tea Festival. So go get steeped in knowledge and discover the world of tea for an afternoon. Just don’t call the kettle anything if you’re the pot – it doesn’t go over well.

Panic!
But specifically at the Disco. The American, emo, pop punk, pop rock band will be taking the stage at The Sound Academy and putting on a show that hopefully won’t be anywhere near as confusing as their genre labels…

*Still want more things?! Why not head over to the The Weekender and check out everything worth doing that’s happening in the city over the next four days.
