Today is Free Burrito Day at Chipotle

Every time you hear ‘free food’ there ends up being a catch.

Beloved healthy Mexican fast food experts Chipotle are offering up a free burrito, bowl, salad, or order of tacos in order to get you to try their new Sofritas menu option.

Yes, dubbed Sofritas Monday, the new organic tofu Sofritas are giving vegetarians an option that goes beyond just beans.

So the catch is you have to try the Sofritas today – and then all you have to do is bring your receipt back to Chipotle anytime between tomorrow and February 27th, and they’ll give you your free chosen menu item (and this time you can go for whatever carnivorous meat you’re craving).

Just to make this super clear. Today you buy a Sofritas, tomorrow you get anything you want.

The new Sofritas are made with organic Hodo Soy that’s been shredded and braised with chipotle chilies, roasted poblanos, and aromatic spices. Not a bad way to curb your midday hunger, even if you are afraid of faux meat.

You’re already going to be heading out for lunch anyway, so why not give yourself a free lunch tomorrow by stopping it Chipotle today?

You can find Chipotle in Toronto at Front and University (123 Front St West), Yonge and Dundas (323 Yonge St), and Yonge and Eglinton (2323 Yonge St). All three locations are open from 11am until 10pm.

Who says nothing in Toronto is free?
