This New Gin is Claiming it Will Make You Look Younger (Yes, You’ll Still Get Drunk Too)

Normally a heavy night on the booze can make us feel like we’ve aged five years by the following morning.

But manufacturers of a new gin are claiming that drinking their juice can actually make you look younger.

The cleverly named “Anti-AGin” is distilled with digestible collagen, giving it anti-ageing properties that could leave us with a hangover that actually shave years off of our appearance.

Proclaiming itself to be the first of its kind, Anti-Agin is described as a “marvellous” gin that actually rejuvenates the skin as you drink it. According to the website, “It’s the next best thing for people who want stay young, but don’t want to give up alcohol.”

So pretty much everyone then?

“By including a host of age defying botanicals and combining them with drinkable collagen, this is the alcoholic equivalent of a facial.”

Hello happy hour(s), goodbye wrinkles.

Those “botanicals” refer to ingredients like Nettle to rejuvenate skin, Gota Kula to smooth out cellulite, and Witch Hazel to prevent signs of aging and speed up the skins healing process.

Collagen – the number one for warding off wrinkles and fine lines – has been used in Japan before in ‘beauty restaurants’ that serve food with ingestible chunks of the stuff, but this is allegedly its first foray into our beverages.

The gin, made by Bompas & Parr, was commissioned by Warner Leisure Hotels. It sells at £34.99 (approx. $63) for 70 cl and can be purchased at drinksupermarket.

Perhaps (unsurprisingly) the ALCOHOL that can make you look YOUNGER is currently out of stock (probably because EVERYONE wants some). But you can sign up to their newsletter to be the first to know when it’s available again.

So forget putting cucumbers on your eyes, just stick a couple of slices in a glass of Anti-AGin and Tonic.
