Pretty cool exchange – but is there any truth in T. Boone’s wisdom? A recent infographic developed by Fleximize analyzes how long it took 21 of the world’s most renowned entrepreneur millionaires to reach billionaire status suggests a resounding “perhaps.”

Most billionaires listed took considerably less time to reach the billion-dollar mark than they did amassing their first million dollars. But here’s where Pickens’ theory kicks in: this top brass falls within the 0.0054% of millionaires in the world who become billionaires.
