This is How Chris Pratt Has Suddenly Become the Actor of Our Generation

Let’s go over the past four years shall we:

Moneyball – 2011
Zero Dark Thirty – 2012
Her – 2013
Guardians of the Galaxy – 2014
Jurassic World – 2015
Indiana Jones (rumored) – 2016?

In case you’re lost here, that’s Chris Pratt’s resume you’re looking at. Yes, Andy Dwyer from Parks and Recreation has been in one of the biggest movies of the year, every year, since 2011.

And with a new rumour going around that he’s next in line to pick up Indy’s whip, we can’t imagine the Pratt superstardom train will be slowing down anytime soon.

Here’s why we think this everyman has managed to win the hearts of everyone:

He’s Handsome but Not TOO Handsome
You could know this man. He’s the kind of good looking that men aren’t intimated by (‘cause they secretly think if they just tried hard enough they could look as good) and just the right amount of attractive – combined with charisma – to still make any woman swoon.

He’s Versatile
Comedy, drama, the LEGO movie… Pratt can play hero, boy next door, babysitter, or lovable failure. He’s the full package.

He’s Funny
When you’re cracking up Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, and Aubrey Plaza on the regular, we’re pretty sure you’ve got comedic chops.

He’s Real
Just watch this. He and his friend lived in a van in Maui and smoked weed every day and listened to Eminem. He is your best friend:

He Likes to Eat
Sure, he gets ripped for movies when he has to (and we all think we would for millions, too) but you know what he does after? He gains 60 pounds back. ‘Cause FOOD.

Star Lord, indeed.
