Twelve-year-old Grace VanderWaal is an adorable ukulele player who took to the stage to perform her original (and amazing) song, ‘ I Don’t Know My Name’. When asked if she thought she could win, she responded, “well, I think miracles can happen so…”
Cue a giant awwwww from the entire crowd.
Oh, and apparently her friends don’t even know she plays.
It takes guts to get on stage in the first place, but to be only 12 years old and perform an original? Our hats are off to this young lady.
Needless to say, the song is incredible, adorable, and all things happy.
