Food critic and writer Jacob Richler just released its list of the top 100 restaurants in Canada.
Seventy of the country’s finest culinary experts submitted a list of who they considered among the top 10 restaurants in Canada.
And – as long as they still exist – we will at some point knock each and every one of them off our foodie bucket list.
Here are the top restaurants both in your hometown and in some of your favourite cities for weekend road trips.
Not surprisingly, some of the best restaurants were found in Toronto – six in the top ten, to be exact.
Montreal’s Toque was given top honours, and nine others followed close behind.
Twelve of the restaurants on the list are in Vancouver, including the second best spot in the country.
Calgary didn’t do too shabbily on the list, with 11 restaurants named among Canada’s finest.
