These Are the 10 Best and Worst Jobs in 2015

A recent report by CareerCast has revealed that jobs that involve work with numbers yield the happiest employees, a conclusion that’ll surely leave high school calculus students nationwide thoroughly perplexed.

Actuaries, mathematicians, statisticians, and data scientists are all incredibly content with their careers, salary surely a major contributor to their contentment.

Jobs in media, meanwhile, spawn a life mired in near-poverty and instability.

The findings put the lure of journalism on shaky ground considering newspaper reporters ranked at the very bottom of the report – just ahead of individuals who fell trees for a living and those on call for war. Broadcasters and photojournalists also occupy spots near the very bottom.

The ranking was determined based on data coming from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which took factors like income, outlook, environmental factors, stress and physical demands in to account.
