These 4-Season Gloves Are Everything Your Precious Hands Deserve and More

What’s waterproof, liquid nitrogen resistent, and perfect on the grill?

If you haven’t figured it out by matching the riddle with the headline, we’re talking about gloves here.

All-weather, all-purpose, all-damn-day given’r gloves. You can give’r so much in these hand shoes, in fact, that the creators behind them had no choice but to call them exactly that – Give’r.

Rather than prepare a 100-page document outlining everything they can do, it would be much more efficient to list what they can’t do:

This is the start of the next sentence after the list. That’s right, they can do literally everything you could possibly expect of a glove, plus everything you’d never expect of any article of clothing.

They essentially harbour the thesis of every Thought Catalog article every published:

“We aim to inspire the unrelenting pursuit of dreams, the confidence to take the road less traveled, and the desire to share the wonders of life with others,” the founders boast. Give’r provides a tangible reminder to ourselves and those around us to seize opportunities in the everyday and to give life our all. Give’r promotes a lifestyle fuelled by passion, purpose, challenge and adventure.”

Though Give’r’s creators – a quartet of hunters, gatherers, and miscellaneous adventure-seekers – hail from Wyoming, the idea was (obviously) inspired by a kayaking expedition in Ontario, which is probably where they first heard someone say their company’s namesake.

A few specs for substance: Give’r gloves are ideal for activities across all four seasons, including axe handling, fire making, chainsawing, mechanical tasks, all forms of winter sport, and flagging a cab in the winter. You can even reach into a boiling pot of water to fetch an egg if you wish.

Give’r has already raised over $175,000 USD on Kickstarter and will deliver first shipments this summer just in time for firewood collecting season. One pair will set you back $70 if you take advantage of the current early bird special; they will retail for $100 a pair following the Kickstarter phase.
