There’s Now a Harry Potter-Themed Bar in Toronto

If you’re among the Harry Potter-obsessed and are in search of a new Toronto watering hole, we have some good news for you.

It’s called The Lockhart.

Taking over what was the Lucy Brock, the week-old bar is packed with references to J.K. Rowling’s series of magic-filled novels. This means things like a bar area designed to look like a modern apothecary, no shortage of subtle Harry Potter paraphernalia and decor, and a menu with options like “Befuddlement Brew,” “The Shacklebolt,” “Dr. Manhattan,” and “Ludo’s Debt.”

If you get it, then you get it.

If not, it’s still a pretty cool, laid-back neighbourhood bar to enjoy a cocktail from the fully-loaded cocktail list, or an assortment of tapas – like giant prawns, jalapeno mac ‘n’ cheese croquette sandwiches, or baked brie – on the open back patio.

Brunch service is expected to begin soon and Harry Potter fans can also expect trivia nights with like-minded wizards and enchantresses.

The Lockhart is located at 1479 Dundas West.
