There is Literally No Excuse for Not Knowing How to Vote on October 21

How often have you heard someone righteously declare they don’t vote because they just don’t know enough about the issues or candidates?

It would be a wasted vote, they say. Well, guess what? Some other doofus with no idea what’s going on will vote and that’s just only marginally more productive than apathy.

Good news for everyone: Political scientists have developed an easy quiz called the Vote Compass to help determine which parties best align with one’s personal views.

Don’t worry, the questions aren’t difficult. No one is going to ask you if the Green Party leader is Theresa May or Elizabeth Warren or Elizabeth May. You’ll simply need to answer how strongly you feel about a particular issue. Unions, for example. Or immigration. You can even claim neutrality or ignorance. You literally cannot fail. The only fact you need to know is your postal code.

And when it’s all over, you’ll get a cool graph that shows where you as well as the five running parties stand economically and socially.

Go on, then, educate yourself
