Well, at least one thing went right yesterday: Officer David Eric Casebolt, the over-zealous McKinney minion who WWF’d a lippy but harmless teenage girl and then pulled a gun on two kids in bathing suits, has officially resigned from the police force.
The city’s police chief made a public statement yesterday calling Casebolt’s actions “indefensible,” “out of control” and far from aligned with training and expected conduct.
Casebolt nor his lawyer have commented on the resignation, but the attorney did mention that the officer has received death threats.
A statement from the officer’s attorney is expected to come out today.
