The Spice Girls Are Going on an International Tour to Mark Their 20th Anniversary

While (some of) the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync are toiling away in zombie horror movies created by the team behind Sharknado, the equally iconic former pop star Spice Girls are going on a world tour.

Emma, Geri and Mel² – Victoria insists she will probably be too busy – are currently planning dates and cities, which will undoubtedly include a few Canadian stops, with a new management team for what will be a celebration of the 20th anniversary since Wannabe took over the world. Recognizing the anniversary deadline, the foursome had no choice but to proceed without Posh.

The hype then continued on social media, where Mel B and Victoria posted #tbt photos to honour their Spice days.

Scary Spice hinted at the world tour earlier this week on Jimmy Fallon: “I want us to get back together, I think we should. It’s been 20 years, it’s about time.”

Each member of the Spice Girls will earn around 10 million pounds from the tour, which probably trumps any other reason to hit the road with three former bandmates you haven’t performed with in almost a decade.

Needless to say, we’re incredibly stoked.
