The Season’s Best Cocktails from YVR’s Stoli Soiree

Hosted at one of the city’s top party spots, the 6000-square foot Imperial, the Stoli Vodka event featured a plethora of Vancouver’s young professional movers and shakers (including young entrepreneur stylist Crystal Carson and the brains behind Style Nine to Five Christie Lohr). On hand to ensure things got stirred up a notch was internationally renowned DJ Lee Foss, who spun into well into the night ensuring all the VIP guests were entertained. After getting down on the dance floor, guests were invited to meandre their way over to a t-shirt-making station where they could design their very own Stoli keepsake tee.

Drink tickets came in the form of marbles (in keeping with the event’s original theme), and we made use of all of them at three large bars positioned throughout the space. Bartenders were mixing up a festive storm, with three distinct drinks on offer to get us into the seasonal spirit. And in a festive spirit we were indeed.

If you’re like us, all those whipped cream-topped egg nog and endless supply of spiced rum punch served in abundance over the holidays quickly loses its appeal.
