Someone Finally Invented a Backpack That Keeps Your Belongings Safe When You Travel

It’s always safe to assume that the less touristy you look abroad, the less the chance of getting mugged on your travels.

But it doesn’t matter how non-conspicuous you look – theft is often always part of the trip.

Luckily, there’s a clever new bag that’s no match for pickpocketers as its reverse zippers and pockets make it extremely difficult to steal from.

TheRiutBag, also known as the ‘Backwards Backpack’, is about to change how millennials travel with its clever design and appealing look.

Designed by Scottish-born Sarah Giblin, the RiutBag (pronounced “riot bag”) was created to keep your laptop and other personal essentials that might not fit into checked luggage safe and free from theft while travelling.

The backpack has a waterproof anti-theft design, which has a padded compartment that’s big enough to safely hold a laptop as well as several mesh pockets and a soft inside that will comfortably hold A4-sized documents, iPads, clothing, and other personal belongings.

The RiutBag also comes in a variety of sizes: the R10 (or Super Slim City Bag) for traveling light, and the R15 Day Bag for heavier packers.

The latest designs are now available for pre-order and start at just $146. Believe us: it’s definitely worth the price considering it’s a fraction of what it might cost to buy a new laptop or camera.
