The New Jungle Book Movie Roars to Life With This Epic Trailer

There’s a new version of the beloved The Jungle Book – and the official trailer has arrived.

Disney’s live-action version of the film is eye-popping and full of stimuli as the lead actors – Scarlett Johansson, Neel Sethi, and Idris Elba – navigate their way through the danger-filled jungle.

The powerful cast also includes Bill Murray, who voices the bear Baloo. Ben Kingsley voices panther Bagheera, Lupita Nyong’o voices wolf Raksha, and Christopher Walken voices King Louie.

The character of Mowgli is the only live-action element of the film, however, with the rest relying on motion-capture techniques to depict the wild animals. The film was first animated, then shot in live action, before the two versions were melded together.

The film’s first footage reveal received a standing ovation at Disney’s D23 convention last month.

You’ll have to wait a while to check out the full version for yourself – the film hits theatres on April 15, 2016.
