The Most Expensive Property Ever Sold in Miami Just Closed for $60 Million

The most expensive home ever sold in Miami has finally closed after a 17-month contract period.

If you’re familiar with the sprawling, luxurious, yacht-adorned properties of the celeb-filled Miami, than you’ll know that this is kind of a big deal.

Meaning, the property sold for a whopping $60 million – $10 million over asking price.

The property is a 12,516-square-foot penthouse in the 18-story Faena House condominium tower. Sitting on Miami Beach’s widest stretch of white sand, the 47-residence building was developed and built by Argentina’s Faena Group. The multi-level, glass-walled penthouse, however, is the most luxurious piece of property in the building…and possibly the city.

The residence features five bedrooms (so there’s lots of room for overnight party guests), two custom kitchens, a media room, a dressing room, a great room, and a private elevator. Of course, you can’t forget the 9,900-square-foot Brazilian-style terrace, complete with a 70-foot-long infinity pool.

Life in the Faena House is like a perpetual vacation. All residents of the building have access to its hotel-like amenities and services, like valet and private concierge service, an in-house spa and fitness center with direct ocean views, a private beach club with full cabana service, and two pools. In other words, you basically never need to leave.

As for the buyer of the property, their identity remains unknown (but we would definitely be friends with them for a night or two).
